Spicy Turmeric Egg White Veggie Scramble with Garlic Naan🔥🍳😋..“How do you constantly eat healthy? Don’t you get bored?? Vegetables are just so bland to me” I’ll get statements like these a lot from those who seem to see my food choices and I feel like they think I’m missing out on “yummy” food because I’m eating nutrient dense whole foods that I make at home 80% of the time as opposed to eating out at restaurants or fast food (which I do also do on occasion of course 🤗) But for me, enjoying ANY food comes down to 2 things: how will this food ultimately make me feel AND how does it taste?! I don’t think I need to stress the importance of why high nutrient foods like lean protein, veggies, and healthy fats are good for us and fuel us best, but I do want to say that everything I eat tastes AMAZING to me because I’m NOT afraid to add FLAVOR😋..Yes, 1000% egg whites with veggies on their own are bland...that’s why I don’t eat them that way 😉Why do we typically like eating out more than what we make at home? Because when we eat out the food is flavored well! It has salt, pepper, spices, and sauces, and at home we can neglect to add those things because we’re not sure what to add or we are just too focused on trying not to burn whatever we’re cooking 😅..I like to add powder seasonings because they’re REALLY easy to add and mix into any warm dish here’s some my favorites: 🔸Garlic or Onion 🔸Spicy powders: Cayenne or Chili🔸Turmeric 🔸Cinnamon 🔸Pepper🔸Salt (in moderation!)..Other easy 0 to low calorie flavorings:🔸 @franksredhot 🔸 @bolthousefarms 🔸 @mrsdashrecipes 🔸 @traderjoes Chile Lime Seasoning, Everything But the Bagel Seasoning, etc...Also getting creative with sauces, dressings, and dips is great too! I love to use nonfat Greek yogurt as a base for sauces and dressings because it allows me to start off with a 0 fat, low carb, and high protein base which then makes adding things like mustard, honey, avocado, olive oil, and other spices not cause the sauce to get extremely high in calories 🤗..Make your high nutrient foods fun with flavor and I PROMISE you that you will enjoy eating them more often!
