Many people ask me how do I fill the nutrient gaps and try to keep my kids healthy in today’s society. Here are 1️⃣0️⃣we use. 1. We take high quality multivitamins. 👍🏼2. I incorporate fibre in our diet, and antioxidant rich foods. ✅3. We make delicious and fun protein smoothies made with no hormones, or routine antibiotics, only natural organic ingredients! 😋4. I add a lot of fresh, bright coloured fruit and or vegetables to every meal based on the season. Sometimes adding things such as mint, ginger, ground flax to name a few! 🥕🍆🍠🥦🍇🍓5. I Incorporate the whole family in food prep, and food choice decisions. 6. We all enjoy taking part in fishing, picking local berries, and working in the garden! 👩🏻🌾🎣7. When using sweeteners I try to use healthy alternatives( dates, other fruits, honey, & agave syrup) 8. I make sure we have a glass of water with every meal! For me I set a timer 5x a day to remind myself to take in more water! 💦9. Friday is our night for the family where we have treats with a movie! 10. I try to keep us on routine sleep schedule! Smoothie juices after my morning workout session. Beet Watermelon smoothie and celery juice...(celery strained using a nut milk bag). First I drink the celery juice on an empty stomach right after my workout...because I can’t workout with food in my tummy, it makes me not feel good. Then after the celery juice, 30 minutes later, I have my avocado toast or bagel and follow with my beet watermelon drink. The reason I drink celery juice first is because it’s strongly alkaline and helps to prevent and counteract a handful of health issues such as acid reflux, high blood pressure, joint pain, headaches, heart palpitations, heartburn, fatigue, muscle cramps, sleep issues, constipation, and bloating. It also helps to purify the bloodstream, aid in digestion, relax the nerves, reduce blood pressure, and clear up skin problems. Plus celery juice is rich in organic sodium content and has the ability to dislodge calcium deposits from the joints and eliminates it safely through the kidneys. And it’s also an effective natural diuretic and has the ability to flush toxins out of the body✨Once I learned this wealth of information about the power of celery juice I had to make it a staple item into my daily routine.
