This popular stall at Fengshan 85 needs no further introduction. Anyone who patronizes Fengshan knows the ever-famous Bar Chor Mee and this. So let’s jump straight into the food..Crunchy fried bits of the egg enveloping decent-sized oysters that are fresh enough did provide a satisfying bite. Even the tapioca flour mixture are pan-fried to crisp but lacks a little gooey touch which I would have enjoyed more. One VERY big negative about this dish is the chilli. The chilli is over-laden with lime and there are no traces of spiciness whatsoever. Pfft 😕.You cannot carry the expectation from a decade ago when you taste this today. The stall has evolved into a system that churns out dishes after dishes expertly which lacks soul and heart in their food I feel. It's because I love hotdogs (who doesn't like right?), this is my current favorite at @strictlypancakes I don't like onion that much but the caramelized onion on the side is yummsss!Snuggle Up ($16)A pair of tasty hotdogs snugly tucked within pancakes, drizzled with maple syrup, caramelized onions and coleslaw on the side for a quick satisfying fix.
