Guys I found my new favorite pizza spot. If you ever need to go to the BLOC in DTLA or you’re craving pizza you have to try this Tre Verde pizza. Kale, green onion, asparagus, red pepper flakes, parmigiano, and olive oil. Sounds strange?? Well strange is beautiful. No puns because pizza is serious business around here. 🍕but here’s a emoji because I’m weak.
this salad will win anyone over! it truly has something for everyone (and can def add protein to it if you want, too😉) this seasonal, harvest salad makes a beautiful main dish or side and here’s what went in:spinach🌱, roasted • cubed sweet potato 🍠, cooked farro (can omit or use quinoa if #glutenfree ), diced red bell pepper & honeycrisp apples 🍎, toasted cinnamon cashews (to a dry pan add 1/2 cup raw cashews, 1/2 TB @fourthandheart vanilla ghee and a sprinkle of cinnamon. cook until golden and toasty), goat cheese and dried cherries 🍒. made a dressing with aged balsamic, olive oil, raw honey 🍯, @sirkensingtons dijon, s&p. mixed it all together and dinner was set!we deconstructed the salad for the kids and they got all the parts, just separated, with @hipchickfarms turkey burgers. done & done ✅! hope you guys all had a wonderful tuesday. can’t believe tomorrow is already hump day and the kids get out for christmas break friday 🎅🏻🎄 time flies!

Made her Walnut Cardamom Bliss Balls and they are my favorite energy ball so far...and I’ve tried a few. Skip the protein or energy bar next time and opt for a few of these. Walnut Cardamom Bliss Balls by @alison__wu (recipe below that I tweaked slightly or original on her site)2 cups walnuts3 cups almond meal1 cup date paste loosely packed (or plain dates)1/2 cup extra virgin coconut oil2 teaspoons coconut flour2 teaspoons vanilla extract2 teaspoon cardamom2 teaspoon cinnamon1 teaspoon fresh grated ginger (can use ground)2 pinches pink saltOptional: 2 teaspoons maca powder 1.) Process all ingredients in food processor until a sticky dough forms. Be patient this can take a while! Keep pulsing.2.) Gently roll into small round balls. Roll balls in dried coconut, chopped nuts or cacao powder.
