Confession.... Lunch ended up being,,,, sausage and chips from the chippy 😱 the sausage wasn't battered (as that clearly makes all the difference!) .So dinner tonight was a @musclefooduk bbq chicken burger (and yes it was delicious) with @eatlean cheese melted on top, with 2 @musclefooduk bacon medallions spinach and tomatoes,,, I had planned on having this in a bagel... But decided not too.... All my vegetarian and non-vegetarian friends, beans are a great plant based protein source! The benefits are amazing along with being high in protein. You can make bean tacos, bean burritos🌯, bean chili, the possibilities are endless! Don't eat too many beans just yet! Gradually add in so you don't get the too much gas! 3 WAYS TO EAT OUT WITHOUT GOING OVER YOUR ENEGY BUDGET 🥡🍔-1️⃣ THE CONTRADICTORY APPROACH. Don’t change your normal eating habits. Go out, enjoy the meal. A great option for the individual who doesn’t have a set date and/or is just trying to lose a couple of kg’s. As long as you don’t then fall into the “ahhh f$ck it” approach and choose to eat everything for the rest of the night/weekend you’ll be fine. Remember that if you’re consistently nailing your energy budget the majority of the time, a night out every once in a while won’t ruin it.-2️⃣ BORROWING For those who track their intake, borrowing calories from another day (or a few) can be an easy way to fit in a meal out without overdoing your weekly energy budget. For example, if you usually eat 2,000 kcal a day but have a large meal on Friday, you can borrow a couple of hundred calories from say Thursday and Saturday and ensure that your weekly calories are still in a deficit.-3️⃣ A PROTEIN FAST.If you have a really high calorie meal coming up, utilising a fasting type protocol can be an easy way to buy you some extra calories for that meal. Don’t know if you can go without eating? Then focus your other meals on protein and fibrous vegetables only.
