While swapping through the channels, came accross a nerve wrecking news this morning, "A man ties his wife to tree, thrashes her with sticks and belt for seven hours in Bulandshahar"All those people who were celebrating women's day 15 days back....any comments??.although its not new...same panchayat giving the verdict and people hundreds in number standing like mute spectators around the crime scene (if at all they think it a crime), making videos, talking to each other as if watching a making of a movie scene, and women crying for help while the husband hitting her with all his might, all the milk and food he consumed , all the energy he was using to hit his women tied to a tree, I am sure if it was a cow tied to the tree and hit like that, case would have been different, there may have been national riots for that, but huh it was just a women....🤐🤐🤐🤐.#beingwomen#womenrights#womenempowerment#treatusashumans#indianwomen#indianmen#patriarchy#maledominantsociety#violence#crime#crimeagainstwomen#treatusequal
This March, different women will take over #IWB Instagram to narrate their stories in an attempt to celebrate womanhood. #KnowHerDay#KnowHerStoryMeet Geeta Soni, who is not only one of the handful of women working at gas stations but is also the star performer of her center.Born and brought up in the city of Aligarh, Geeta moved to Jaipur after marriage. She worked as a security guard earlier, but later joined the gas station. "It took me extra effort to learn this task, but I worked harder than ever. I wasn't competing against men, but I had to prove that I'm worthy of the job. They'd taunt me that I got the job only because I'm a woman. And now, I am the best performer. My work speaks for itself." Geeta ji wants all girls to work hard, even if they have to step out of their comfort zone.Such are the women of today!More such #wonderwomen will be taking over our Insta throughout March. If you want to be a part of it or know someone who should be #featured, let us know...#RealStories#women#IndianWomen#photostory
