My friend made me some buckwheat congee to try and it is amazing! It was so flavourful with nutmeg, fresh ginger and stewed apples. I topped it off with my vanilla blueberry chia jam && hemp hearts. Yum! I finally understand the appeal of congee, I totally got the health benefits of it but it sounded bland and boring to me so I never gave it a chance. ✌🏽 I'll try anything once
Im processing some hard stuff today (Im fine its just life things that affect us all differently) and this picture I captured last week at the gym is exactly what I need to see to remind myself this....✔I can do whatever I set my mind too✔ I am a champion to myself of never giving up on my goals and dreams even when they seem impossible or too far out of reach✔I am strong emotionally, physically and spiritually✔ I am worthy like everyone else to be happy and kick fear, worry, guilt and anger in the face and say "you are not welcome here bye bye"✔ I am in charge of my life not another human being and Value me being ME!!! This picture is a snap shot of me doing planks...such a challenging position for me. I was up to 1 minute holds before taking a break...total 3 minute of planks. This momma is taking 1 day at a time, 1 foot in front of the other and will not give up on ME!I want to say 1 thing.... This world needs you!!! Just the way you are.
