My mother taught me a long time ago: “You’re either losing or you’re gaining!” That refers to anything in life, not just weight. You’re either moving forward or stepping back, we as humans cannot literally stand still in our lives. Even if you’re maintaining weight, you’re still gaining self control, confidence, etc. So this week’s #motivationmonday goes to this picture right here. Sometimes I’m discouraged as to why I’m not a size 9 again yet, but I have to remember that I do have PROGRESS. I am 7 months postpartum of being pregnant for 2 years. For 18 months my body formed, birthed & fed 2 babies- why in tf would i think it would even be healthy to snap back in 7 months??? My goal is to form my body, work on my skin, my muscles, my shape. That’s exactly what I’m doing. 5 months doesn’t seem like a very long time but it’s enough time to lose 25 pounds & be proud that I didn’t gain 25 pounds instead!! 50+ pounds down total & never giving up y’all!
