So I decided I should probably harvest the potatoes now before I'm beyond being capable (nearly 36 weeks pregnant now 😅) and boy am I glad I did! Ella was most helpful putting them in the wheelbarrow for me, but just pulling up the plants and digging around for the potatoes really got the braxton hicks going! I don't know what the total weight is and we have already harvested quite a few plants before this, but we did pretty well considering I didn't get the chance to hill them up as much as I should have. The right side are Sebago (with a few random Kipflers) and the left are Nicola. There were a few Nicolas that ended up green since they grew so close together and started pushing up out of the soil, very different growing habit to the Sebagos. Does anyone know if you can use green potatoes as seed potatoes? Second pic shows a few zucchini we harvested today too and some rhubarb. Lots of corn & tomatoes on their way and currently 8 spaghetti squash at different stages on the vine.
