One question I get asked constantly is what makes a "good skater" or how'd did I become such a "good skater". I personally feel to become a seasoned skater in general you have to be ok with going out of your comfort zones. You have to learn to leave your ego at the door and be comfortable with failing and or looking stupid. Personally for myself I have a LONG way to go in my skating life and there is SO much more I wanna learn and to explore! I really feel this just the beginning and I'm constantly failing and learning all the time! -I feel super lucky to have people like @esinamsterdam always encouraging me to try and explore new jam skating moves which constantly takes me out of my comfort zone but also shows me how there are just endless possibilities to being a "good skater" (whatever that is to a person). -This is one of the few times I can actually say I felt comfortable jamming free flowing like this!!!! I REALLY had to convince myself to post my transformation picture today... I feel bloated and to top it off I had a bit of a rough day but then I thought, Gurrl that's life... sh!t's gonna get real sometimes, how you gonna deal with it?.Answer: I'm gonna face it today like I did everyday leading up to this point #aintnootherway.Looking at these pictures side by side I am reminded of all the life changing choices I made by putting MYSELF first and DAMN am I proud of myself..ME! The girl who always put herself LAST to please everyone else..My constant weight gain really started taking its toll when I realized I wasn't getting any younger or healthier for that matter... ONE of those I could change... #soidid💪.I ordered a workout program off an infomercial (don't you dare judge me 😝), commitment to 60 days and ladies and gentlemen, there you have my ONCE UPON A TIME 👸.The fact that I've been able to continue to surpass my goals after doing this for years, during and after a pregnancy, proved to me that I made an incredible and realistic choice..🌸Now I'm that girl that jumps out of bed, instead of dragging my feet. I fuel my body with a powerhouse superfood shake, instead of fast-food breakfast on my way to work.🌸I come home and push play on 30 minute workouts, 5 days a week, instead of channel surfing.🌸I enjoy my well earned REST days, instead of feeling like I'm letting myself down.🌸I eat REAL food (and ALOT of it!!), instead of relying on some fad diet that's restricted so many foods I LOVED.🌸Finally, I check in with an online group of bad asses who encourage and support each other to keep going, instead of feeling like I'm in this alone....That girl on the left took a chance on herself and the girl on the right thanks her EVERYDAY 😊.Where are you at right now with your health?
