As part of the “Qudwa” initiative, Dubai Women Establishment (DWE) hosted a knowledge-sharing session, presenting Dubai Abulhoul to senior female students of Zayed University in Dubai.

To mark Emirati Women’s Day, the “Qudwa” initiative was launched by Sheikha Manal Bint Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, President of Dubai Women Establishment, and wife of Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and UAE Minister of Presidential Affairs, as a platform for female Emirati role models to inspire aspiring national women across all strata of society.

The session, which is the second in a series of inspirational knowledge-sharing talks expected to extend through to December 2017, was attended by Shamsa Saleh, CEO of Dubai Women Establishment, Dr Riad Abdul Latif Al Muhaidib, President of Zayed University, Fathiya Al Khamiri, Director of Student Life at Zayed University, Dubai Campus, and Lamia Abdulaziz Khan, Director of Dubai Ladies Club and Corporate Communications Director of Dubai Women Establishment.

During her talk, Abulhoul expressed her appreciation to Aysha Taryam, Editor In Chief of The Gulf Today, for continuously encouraging her to write for the newspaper while she was a high school student.
